THE OG GG IS BACK!!!

 

When was the last time I saw them all together in one show? Was it in Knowing Brothers? 

This may just be a regular show guesting and not a single nor album comeback but as a fan whose been rooting for them for quite a long time, this is a precious moment to be treasure. We all have been waiting for this to come. 

This year marks Girls' Generation's 14th year anniversary. 

I'm so proud that they have made it this far and still continue with their journey even if it's individual. The girls I once met have turned into fine women of their generation. 

 

 

 

 

They have shined so bright in their chosen fields. Whether they promote as a group, or solo as singers, actresses hosts they have proven that they are all capable of doing anything and that they will excel in anything. I have met them as a group and now that they are taking their career paths I'm still supporting and rooting for them.

I'm proud to say that it is very rare in an idol group for it's member, not just one but all members, become successful as solo artists. Only Girls Generation did that! Only my girls did that! Today's generation may not be aware  of them as Girls Generation but definitely know them as Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Yoona, Yuri, Tiffany, Sunny, and Seohyun.

I was in middle school when I started fangirling over them, I still remember how my friends teased me for listening to kpop music this went on until I graduated high school. But I didn't mind and looking at them now going crazy over the new idol groups, brings me back to those days I was so active fangirling.

I still support them up to this day, but we all know drama and variety shows are not as demanding as when your fav idols released new songs or music video. I stay late at night just to wait for it to be released or stay up all night to listen and watch the mv over and over again. 

It was an amazing journey. I may not be able to see them live as 9 member group, but still glad to watch them 8 on stage when they attended the "Best of Best Concert" in 2015 in Manila. I was also able to attend Taeyeon's solo concert in 2018. Tiffany and Hyoyeon also had thei solo concert and show in Manila but sadly I was not able to watch it.

I'm so thankful to meet this girls who has a very big dream and has inspired me to keep going despite all the obstacle in life.

2019 SUPER SHOW 8 in MANILA

This is kinda late, but I still think this needs to be included here. This is my second Super Show and I was really happy to be part of this ♥️♥️♥️

I remember when I saw those sellers posting their shirt designs for the show, I kept on inquiring at every post but not committing that I will buy because I am not sure if I will be able to watch the concert. This shirt I am wearing is my most favorite among all the designs I saw online. I was lucky enough that it is on demand that's why the seller decided to open a final batch for D-day; thus I was able to get mine 😊😊😊

The concert was held on December 15, 2019 which made it extra special because it's my cousin's birthday. She really wanted to watch the concert, so when I told her I got tickets she is so happy. This is her first Super Show.

Of course, extra efforts fan will always be there and since it is Super Junior aspiring brides will never missed this chance. As I was waiting in line to get inside this girls infront of us made sure she will stand out.

 

The show set to begin around 6pm. Fans have prepared a banner project where in it will be put up on a certain part of a song (I forgot which song). The banner is written is hangul with English translation below which says "From the start, today, tomorrow, until the end, it's you)"

When the lights inside became dimmed ELF starts screaming and the whole arena turns into blue ocean. The Last Man Standing started to play and fans sang along to the song. 

VCR started playing, screams and chants you can hear all over the arena. Super Junior came out like Prince Charming in your favorite fantasy film with their first song The Crown. I screamed with all my strength, they are right there in front of me again 😍 I can't calm the whole first set.

Last Super Show 7 Ryeowook and Kyuhyun were not able to join due to their military service. That's why we are all happy to see them. Sadly, this time it is Heechul who was not able to come, so during a long break we cheer his chant:

During MENT, Eunhyuk said he prepared a present for PH Elfs and he started singin the intro of Frozen 2 soundtrack. He has a lot of surprises 🤣 while on the second MENT said that he loves Phil so much that he even wrote "PH" underneath his eyes. We were all so touched. They were also making fun of Siwon because he grew his beared, they are calling him "Santa" ~ what a handsome santa 😍

Since they had a newly released album so most of the songs performed where from it and some where from their albums way back 2010: Fancams

I've been fangirling over Super Junior since 2009 cos they came from the same company as SNSD and I've been an avid SM Stan 😊. My most favorite song of SuJu is No Other, they did not performed it during Super Show 7 that's why when I heard the intro played I was screaming and about to cry. I remember playing it everyday and everynight watching its MV and even trying to learn its dance. I sing along the whole song, that I didn't even get a proper video. 

Just like the stage set up in SS7, SS8 also had a 3rd elevated stage, thought this time it was designed as #8. Unlike the last Super Show, they did not use the third stage often they went more on first and rare on second stage. They only went to the third stage during encore. Even though that's how it was, during encore Leeteuk stayed for a minutes on our side thus I was able to see him a bit close; so thus Kyuhyun 😊. They had a segment where in they prepare a tribute for their fans. It was a video which shows the relationship between Super Junior and E.L.F.S. For their truely and solid fans, I bet it made them cry so hard, as I had teary eyes too. It was then followed by ELF song -- I am not really familiar with this one, but it's a good song anyway. 

There was this song I started to like after they performed it, Show, it was very lively and fun. I almost missed a step on the stairs because I want to get a really closed up video while jumping and all. This is what I called "buwis-buhay" fancam 😂😂

Well I'm not disappointed though cos I got this ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Indeed, it was another memorable Super Show. The boys promised to be back for the next Super Show. Let's keep cheering on them. Super Junior Hwaiting!

KPOP WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL IN MANILA

I had no hopes to get to watch this concert but the heaven was so nice to me. Thank you for letting me see Red Velvet!

The show was held at the Mall of Asia Arena last June 09, 2019. The line up are Elris, Sohee (soloist, member of Elris), Kim Donghan, NCT 127, and Red Velvet . Ryan Bang serves as the host and translator for the show. I had no idea that he will be the host so me and my cousin were very shock when we saw him at the stage.





Sohee started the show, followed by Kim Donghan (who would have thought I would see you my boys from Produce 101 S2 one by one visiting Manila, I am so happy that despite not making it to the final top he was able to debut successfully as a solo artist). Elris performed next only 4 members showed up on stage to perform. We later discovered that one their member, Bella, was injured that's why she wasn't able to join them performing but despite her situation she still flew all the way from Korea to be with her fans. So thoughtful of her. Hope she gets better. Though I am not really familiar with them so I made some research before going to the concert and I really liked their song Summer Dream, which they sang at the opening of their performance.


Next to perform was NCT 127 of course they aside from Red Velvet this group is also the most awaited from the fans. The arena was almost filled with yellow green? idk a lot of fans their were NCTizens. I really love the color of their lightstick it realy shines in the dark. The crowd gets loud and wild when they stepped on the stage. In the middle of introduction from NCT Ryan Bang cut it out and explain why he wasn't able to go out when Kim Donghan was trying to communicate with the fans and he was not around to translate. He said that Vice Ganda kept on calling him to say that Sharon Cuneta was their to support NCT. We all know Ate Shawie to be a rising fan of kpop most especially of Twice and NCT. It was funny and at the same time proud to see her cheering really loud for the boys. He even shout once "MGA ANAK KO YAN" during NCT's performance. I was actually waiting for them to perform BOSS bcos I started to love it after I heard it being performed at the current season of Produce which is Produce X 101. The song was part of the show's Position Evaluation. I find it really cool so I was hoping maybe they could perform it. HAHA. But they didn't :( sad. NCT performs Firetruck, Cherry Bomb (the chants gets louder every time "I'm the biggest hit" part comes), Regular, Simon Says, and Superhuman.

Of course, last but not the least, presenting the stars of the night...RED VELVET! After 4 years we meet again. It was during Best of Best in Manila I met them for the first time and now that you've return I'm so glad that I was their so see you again ♥.

Red Velvet kick off their first stage with Red Flavor, if you think the crowd got tired during the stage of NCT I bet you that was just a rehearsal! The moment that lights on, everyone in the arena sang along to the intro of Red Flavor upto the end. Some dances along. It was a really wild stage and crowd. The group perform their other hit songs like Power Up, Bad Boy and Moonlight Melody.

They ended their stage with a charistmatic performance of Really Bad Boy.

During the interview, the host asked each member what do they want to do the next time they visit the Philippines for a vacation. Joy said that her brother is studying here in Manila she wants to comeback and spend time to tour around with her brother, while Seulgi said that from her room she can see the Manila Bay so she wants to go to the Manila Bay. Irene wants to have a solo concert in Manila, well of course we all want it; so the moment she said that the fans cheered "solo con" really loud. I'm sorry I forgot what Wendy and Yeri said.

It was a quick show ended in 2 hours, but somehow worth it. Each artists get to atleast perform 5 songs each. The show was fun also because of Ryan Bang, thank you for your kindess!

I hope to RV again, this time Solo Concert! Woohoo~

'...s Taeyeon Concert in Manila

Yes! You read it right. Taeyeon had her solo concert in Manila this 2018 Decemeber at the New Frontier Theater. What a great Christmas gift for every PH Sones. The moment it was announced that Manila will be included in her list of her '...s tour I really jumped out of joy and told myself that I need to be part of this.

So of course I will not allow myself to attend the con without my own lightstick. I searched for every online shops just to order it and will make sure that it will arrive before the concert. Thank you Cho Dabi Trading for my SNSD lightstick.

I arrive at the hall early though it was a reserved seat still need to be there to collect all the freebies. Woohoo~

There were a lot of fan projects and this "You've been our 11:11" wish was part of the project; at the back of it says PH Sone, Here I Am. Taeyeon even posted it on her own instagram account.

              

The concert started past 8PM, and of course everyone was excited to see Taeyeon and hear her voice live. Lights off and VCR was played with her unreleased "Here I Am" as background song. As it reaches towards the end the led wall open and gave us the most awaited Kim Taeyeon! she continued the song until the end. She then continued here stage with a sexy performance of I Got Love, a heartfelt vocal of Fire, and fly like an angel with Love You Like Crazy. She ended her first set with her new song Something New. During Ment Taeyeon speaks tagalog "Kamusta Kayo"and the highlight? "Kamusta Kayo Mga Beshie" Yes! Beshie? Beshie is actually a gay lingo which means friend. I don't who thought her that! Lol. She was surprised that she actually have special guests in her concert. Surprised that her friends from far away visited her.  It was the fans who really put an effort to dress up as Valak, Jack Skellington, Annabelle, Scream.

Another VCR was played with Up&Down. Taeyeon return to stage with a new set of outfit and sang
Do You Love Me ; we tried to keep the whole theater quiet as the song is ballad but of course we cannot control each other's feelings LOL some still cheer and shouts their love for KTY. We did tone down a little. She performed next a re-arranged version of Rain, followed by All Night Long, Baram X3, and Why.

Before the third set, a special stage for Taeyeon's band and back up dancers was performed. Each were introduced through their own spotlight.




As the third stage began Taeyeon sang One Day to start off and kick it with Gemini after. Since the date of her tour in Manila fell on a Christmas season, she offer a special song Christmas Without You for her PH Sones to greet them a very Merry Christmas.



She then continued with I'm All Ears, Gravity, Fine (I really think this was the highlight, everyone was waiting for this song to hear the acapella part. Remember her performance from other country went viral so this was the most awaited one, and dude! I guarantee Taeyeon's voice is really one of a kind! She is the best of all the best! #bias LOL) and Feel So Fine.

As we're near to the end, Taeyeon return to stage and sang Time Lapse. After her performance she had ment where in a fan book was given to her, she read it loud and mimik Mahal Ko Kayo (such a cutie). There was a banner project as I have mentioned so the crowd from the VIP I guess where screaming for a photo ops so Taeyeon asked how did we know that we were taking pictures. There was also a project at our section where in we were supposed to create KTY , and yeah she noticed it but it wasn't really that complete cos there are some vacant areas that wasn't filled in so she had a little hard time to understand what it was supposed to mean. We were trying to have it captured in the photo but since our section was so high and the angle wasn't that good it's really hard for the photographer to include it the photo. They found a way but it wasn't clear LOL. Fan projects were all successful that made Taeyeon said she will not forget this night.

There was also another scenario where she was given a message book. Most of the messages were written in english and it was funny because there were messages where in SARANGHAE AND HWAITING was written that way. It was funny how she read it. When she said thank you fans started chearing IIYAK NA YAN, and she was really confused of what we were saying LOL so I guess someone from the staffs approached her and explain that it means to cry. She laughed and said if you want to make me cry that's not the way. Lol. When she was bidding good bye for her last song fans were cheering kajima and then continued to perform Circus as her last song. So of course fans will not let it to end the concert by just that and requested for a one more encore where Taeyeon perform her debut single I. Everyone theater sang along the whole song. It was a tearful ending. We wish it didn't end. But the moment turned into worry when Taeyeon bump into one of the set up from back stage. Though she reassured with the fans that she's okay through her instagram story post.

SEVENTEEN 'IDEAL CUT' IN MANILA 2018

 This was my most awaited Kpop Concert for this year. I've been during Mansae era. I still remember, Joshua was the one who caught my eyes, but the longer I stay with them it was Junhui now. Hahahaha. It's hard to stay with one as, definitely every CARAT would understand.

So going back, SEVENTEEN, is a South Korean boy group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2015. The group consists of thirteen members divided into three sub-units, each with a different area of specialization: a 'Hip-Hop Unit', 'Vocal Unit', and 'Performance Unit'. (wiki)

 This is their 3rd Tour in Manila, beginning in 2016 with Shining Diamonds and in 2017 Diamond Edges World Tour. Seventeen 'Ideal Cut' in Manila was held last September 29, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena. The arena was so filled with PH CARATs there were also international fans who attended the concert in Manila.

From lining up outside the arena until we got inside the concert venue, CARATS are cheering and singing along with the songs being played. Take note! Seventeen was not yet out that time.
When the show started the fans get wilder and louder! Seventeen kick off their first song with their song Highlight. All performances was so full of energy. After they perform Thanks, during ment CARATs started chanting "Seventeen Gomawo!" and after hearing the boys cheered back with "Caral-deul Gomawa!" I want to cry! This moment was very precious for both Carats and Seventeen. I was all out cheering when they perform Chuck, of course the highlight choreography was power! So much love! Then they continue with Unit performances.

They're so cute when they form Thinking About You, I started liking this song since they performed it! I've been listening to this but didn't appreciate at all, only when they perform it live, it was so addicting.

Debut and pre-debut days flashback to me when Seventeen performed Shining Diamond, this dark concept that they worked so hard for. Who would have thought that they will really shine just like a diamond! They also performed their latest song Oh My! CARATS was singing with them all through out the song.

 Carats were seranade with Campfire, I just so love this song. You'll see your ships with overflowing sweetness. There was a fan project were they turn their lightstick in Yellow Ocean, it was somehow successful. Thank you for the effort Carats!

And most memorable super unexpected! was during Very Nice, see photo on the left side? They return back to the stage to many times! At the end of Aju Nice, screens are close,lights at the Arena are starting to brighten, some in VIP are ready to leave their seats, when the screen opens again and SVT came out again! It superb!!! They did it for like 3 times I think? I don't know I was their so hype during that time!

It was hard when their officially saying goodbye! I was cheering with my whole energy during the concert. I kept telling my cousin that I've been to many concerts but I wasn't as hype as this one! They're really the one ♥

No plans of leaving the arena hoping that they will come out again. HAHAHA.

WANNA ONE 2018 "ONE: THE WORLD" TOUR IN MANILA

 

Filipino Kpop Fans welcomes the ber-months with an extremely great concert as Wanna One last stop for their World Tour was here in Manila. On September 01, 2018, the eleven member boy group, WANNA ONE conquered the Mall of Asia Arena for their One:The World Tour.

Wanna One is a South Korean boy band formed by CJ E&M through the 2017 survival show Produce 101 Season 2. The group members: Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Kuan-lin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-woon. The group debuted on August 07, 2017 and until December 2018 (wiki_WannaOne)

   

  

I've watched this boys since produce 101 season 2 and seeing them performing live on stage, they really grew a lot as an artist. I never expect that these boys gained so much love and popularity in the Philippines. The arena was so full of wannables cheering, dancing, singing, chanting to every song. 

Wanna One PH had a fan project were in the lightsticks should turn gold during the Gold performance, and it was a bit successful. The crowd went extra wild when Wanna One perform the single from their survival show 나야나 (Pick Me). Everyone is singing "nayana" and dancing all through out the song.

SUPER JUNIOR - SUPER SHOW 7 IN MANILA

My very first ever Super Show!
Super Junior returns to Manila for a Super Show after 5 years. Super Show 7 was held last June 30, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The stage set up was so fantastic! It was so big, extending up to Lower Box A Center. It's almost like a VIP experience! Super Junior right there in front of you!

The group performed their latest songs and their hit singles! Of course the legendary Sorry Sorry will never be out of the list. They also performed Bonamana and Mr. Simple.

Super Junior members Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Siwon are present at the concert. While member Kyuhyun and Ryeowook missed this tour due to their obligatory military service. However; the two members still find their way to greet their PH-Elfs. A voice message from Kyuhyun and Ryeowook was played on the concert.














It was so touching because every member prepared a Filipino greetings for their PH Elfs during ment. The crowd went wild when Siwon acknowledged the presence of Manny Pacquiao and of course Pia Wurtzbach. Fans kept on shouting Pia's name when Siwon was about to drop the name of Pia. And then there was Heechul fanboying over Pacquiao 😂😂

Before performing I Do, Leeteuk read a very heartfelt letter for very Princess Elfs inside the Arena. You can definitely say that the concert was made for every Elf.

It was a concert that I will forever treasure!
