The Annual Philippine KPOPCON, the 1st of its kind in the WORLD and THE BIGGEST Kpop fan event in the country, is a FUND-RAISING benefit for GAWAD KALINGA & PAWS. It is the flagship event of PKCI, comprised by the 60 biggest Kpop FCs. (pkci facebook page)
The Annual Philippine Kpop Convention usually happens every December and as the Philippine Kpop Convention reached its 5th year, the event became extra special as they invited some artists all the way from Korea, to name them all we had ACIAN, LC9, LUNAFLY, and the main act BOYFRIEND. The event happened on December 28, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center. Each boy groups performed 2-3 songs for their fans and had a short fan service activities wherein some fans who were in the VIP are was given a chance to participate in the game with their idols. Some fans also took the chance to have a photo ops with their favorite idol.
To tell you my experience, it was a total fun and remarkable one for me. Turning out that few months before this convention happened, I was just starting to stan BOYFRIEND and you can't imagine how happy I was when I got into this event.
And to mark that this was my first kpop concert/event to attend to. Looking forward to more convention to attend! Hopefully the next one will be as great as this!
